Monday Wisconsin Sports UPDATE

Here is the latest Wisconsin sports from The AP

CHICAGO (AP) -- Not much has gone right for the Chicago Bears this season, but at least they can say they swept their rival Packers. Green Bay took its most lopsided loss of the season yesterday, losing 35-7 at Soldier Field. The Bears' Brian Urlacher returned an interception for a touchdown for the first time in his career and Adrian Peterson ran for 102 yards.

CHICAGO (AP) -- If the Packers are going to the Super Bowl, their road will most likely go through Dallas. That's because Green Bay's loss to Chicago yesterday cost the Packers the number-one seed in the NFC playoffs. That means if the Packers meet the Cowboys in the NFC Championship, the game will be in Dallas. The Cowboys haven't been the number-one seed since 1995.

CHICAGO (AP) -- If any football team is going to thrive in frigid conditions, you might think it would be Green Bay. But the bone-chilling weather in Chicago seemed to affect Brett Favre and the Packers more than it did the Bears. Favre says yesterday's conditions were the worst he's ever played in, in 17 years. He says he's not making excuses, but the Bears handled it better than his team did.
