Here is the latest Wisconsin sports from The AP
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Jon Ryan says there's simply no way to completely explained what happened to him while punting for the Green Bay Packers Sunday. He says the cold, windy conditions at Chicago were brutal, and it's the kind of day that probably will give him nightmares. Ryan had two punts blocked, mishandled a snap and shanked yet another for 9 yards in the Packers' 35-7 loss to the Bears.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Packers linebacker Nick Barnett might not file a formal grievance against NFL official Jim Quirk after all. His agent says he is more interested in having the league admit that Quirk's rough treatment of Barnett during Sunday's game in Chicago was wrong. Quirk grabbed Barnett by the neck and threw him to the ground while breaking up a scuffle in the Packers' loss to the Bears.
UNDATED (AP) -- The Milwaukee Bucks take on the Chicago Bulls tonight in Chicago and try to recover from their demoralizing defeat in Denver Wednesday night. Milwaukee's record slipped to 11-16, putting the Bucks in fourth place in their Central Division. They are a game and a half ahead of the last-place Bulls, who are 9-17.
