The line of Tia Hanson, Emily Kranz and Kyla Sanders combined to record three goals and four assists to lead the seventh-ranked Wisconsin women’s hockey team to a 4-1 victory over Minnesota State. It was the Badgers first game in 25 days.
Kranz scored the first two goals of the game for Wisconsin who is now 9-4-2 in the WCHA, 13-4-2 overal. Sanders and Erika Lawler also lit the lamp for UW while Hanson recorded three assists.
Jessie Vetter stopped 17 shots to earn her 12th victory of the season.
