The Badger women's basketball team couldn't hold a slim second half lead and lost 81-73 to Minnesota Monday in Madison.
The Badgers suffered a cold shooting first half from senior Jolene Anderson but still held a 3 point lead midway thru the second half. But the Gophers were led by junior Emily Fox who poured in a game high 29 points many of those coming down the stretch.
With the loss the Badgers fall to 1-3 in the Big Ten. Nest they travel to take on Iowa Sunday.
