Defensive Coordinator Mike Hankwitz and Offensive line coach Bob Palcic won't be back with UW Football program in 2008.
Published reports on JS-Online, and others. confirm Hankwitz has been relieved of his coordinating duties by Bret Bielema after his 2nd season with the program. The Badgers defense struggled in 2007 after they were thought to be one of the best units in the Big Ten.
Palcic is taking the same job at UCLA where he will rejoin friend, and new Bruins head coach, Rick Neuheisel. Palcic served as UCLA assistant in 1993.
