The Green Bay Packers returned to practice today, and Will Blackmon was with them.
Blackmon sat out Saturday's playoff victory over Seattle because of a foot injury. He did some work at cornerback and fielded punts during the portion of practice that was open to the media today.
It'snot clear whether Blackmon will be able to play in Sunday's NFC Championship game against the New York Giants at Lambeau Field, but it certainly is a step in the right direction.
Blackmon's return would strengthen the Packers' defensive backfield and make their return game more dangerous.
Cornerback Charles Woodson, center Scott Wells and linebacker Nick Barnett appeared to leave practice early today, but it was not immediately clear why. Woodson has fought through nagging injuries all season and Barnett had a sore hamstring last week.
