Advance forecast for Packers game: high of 6 degrees
The only weather forecast Wisconsin residents seem to care about right now is the weekend forecast at Lambeau Field.
The Packers host the New York Giants on Sunday for a Super Bowl berth. Meteorologists say they're expecting that day to be sunny and cold with a high of 6 degrees.
Wind chill readings could reach 20 to 35 degrees below zero over the weekend.
The National Weather Service is predicting 3-6 inches of snowfall in the Fox Cities Thursday. There's a 50% chance of light snowfall Friday.
A number of schools in the Oconto and Lena areas closed early Thursday afternoon. The same also happened in south-central Wisconsin, which is also expected to get 3-6 inches of snow by this evening.
