Iowa wrestlers defeat Wisconsin 22-20
Brent Metcalf, Phil Keddy and Jay Borschel scored important bonus points as the No. 1 Iowa wrestling squad beat Wisconsin 22-20 in Madison.
Each team won five matches. The extra scoring by Iowa's threesome overcame a pair of major decisions by the Badgers Jake Donar and Kyle Ruschell and a pin from Dallas Herbst.
Borschel's win was timely because Wisconsin trailed Iowa 12-11 after six weights. Borschel's and Keddy's win gave the Hawkeyes a 22-11 cushion.
The Badgers are 2-2 in the Big Ten, 11-3-1 overall.
