UW-Whitewater, ranked seventh in the D3hoops.com poll, remained tied for the lead in the Wisconsin IIntercollegiate Conference with a 66-51 win over UW-Oshkosh in Kachel Gym in Williams Cetnter Wednesday evening.
Myles McKay had a career high 27 points, hitting 11 of 19 shots. Junior guard Matt Goodwin added 12 points. McKay also contributed a game high four steals, and led UW-W with eight rebounds. UW-O was led by junior center Dane Seckar-Anderson, who scored 19 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore forward D.J. Marsh chipped in with 12 points.
Whitewater and Stevens Point are 12-3 in league play. Platteville and Oshkosh are one game behind at 11-4. Whitewater will host UW-River Falls Saturday at 3:00 in Kachel Gym in Williams Center. Stevens Point will travel to Platteville Saturday evening, and Oshkosh hosts Superior to close the regular season.
