Former Badgers cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu is scheduled for surgery this week in Miami.
If that doesn't happen, Ikegwuonu says he'll get it done in Wisconsin. He says his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, wants him to have the surgery in Florida so he can rehab there.
Ikegwuonu says he hyperextended his knee, dislocated it and partially tore his MCL while pulling a sled at training facility in Davie, Florida.
If he has the surgery this month, that would give him just five months before NFL training camp starts.
At the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis, Rosenhaus says his client will be ready by camp and will likely be selected in the early rounds. But, Ikegwuonu is prepared for the worst. He says it's possible he won't be selected.
