Jeronne Maymon scores a game-high 27 points as Madison Memorial is heading back to the State Basketball Tournament. The Spartans beat Waunakee, 79-59 in a Division 1 Sectional Final; handing the Warriors their only loss of the season. Memorial will take on Badger next Thursday in the State Quarterfinals. Badger knocked off Verona, 74-64.
In Division Two, defending state champ Monroe is going back to State. The Cheesemakers edged East Troy, 54-53. Adams-Friendship also qualifies in D-2, picking up a 35-34 win over Spooner.
Randolph is heading back to state for the sixth time in seven years. The Rockets held off Benton, 49-47 in a Division Four Sectional Final. Tyler Tillema led Randolph with 24 points. In a re-match of last year's state title game, the Rockets will take on Eleva-Strum in the Quarterfinals Friday at 10:30 a.m.
