MADISON, Wis. - Kim Royston, who was heading into his junior year with the Badger football team, has chosen to leave the program, head coach Bret Bielema announced Thursday.
"I know Kim wanted to be in a starting role for us, but that wasn't the position he was in at this time," Bielema said. "I wish him the best."
Royston, a defensive back, played in 25 career games for the Badgers. His career statistical totals included 22 tackles and one interception.
