In the opening game of the WCHA playoffs, the Wisconsin men’s hockey team fell 3-0 to St. Cloud State The Badgers need to win both Saturday and Sunday to secure two best-of-three victories and advance to the WCHA Final Five next weekend.
Wisconsin and St. Cloud State will face off again on Saturday at 7p.m. CT at the National Hockey Center. If the Badgers win tomorrow, they will play the Huskies again on Sunday night to determine who will advance to the second round of the playoffs. If St. Cloud State earns another victory on Saturday they will be the team heading to the WCHA Final Five in St. Paul, Minn.
