The bats got going early for the Memorial Spartans in their game against Verona Wednesday afternoon, and pitcher Lexie Johnson was red hot. In the end, the Wildcats were probably left wondering what happened as they fell 9-nothing while not registering a single hit. With the win Memorial improved to 19-0 on the year. They'll try to finish off a perfect regular season tomorrow against Middleton.
