Local Area athletes excel at High School State Track Meet's Day 1
Paul Annear wins Triple Jump

A lot of local area athletes generating some buzz to start the 2008 High School State Track Meet. In the D-2 Triple Jump Richland Center's Paul Annear defending his title with a mark of 45 feet 10 inches. Madison La Follette's Chris Redman a state champ in the D-1 High Jump. Redman getting up and over 6 feet 7 inches. Prairie du Chien's Diedre Dillman won her heat in the D-2 400 meter dash. Marcia Roeper of Darlington picked up 5 points for the Redbirds taking 4th in the D-3 Long Jump.
