CHICAGO (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers will try to avoid losing three in a row as they continue a four-game series on the road this afternoon against the Chicago Cubs. Derrek Lee connected for a three-run shot last night off Seth McClung, who was making just his second start of the season as the Brewers lost 9-5.
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Four Milwaukee Brewers players and the Brewers Charities-Selig Scholars Program have teamed up to provide college scholarships to 12 students from Wisconsin. Almost 50 students have received $545,000 in aid since the program began in 2003.
UNDATED (AP) -- Wisconsin will face Clinton and Beloit will meet Cedar Rapids in Midwest League play tonight. Wisconsin tallied another win with a 4-3 victory yesterday over Clinton. Beloit fell to Cedar Rapids 5-1.
