GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- According to a new poll, Lambeau Field is the best place to watch a game. ESPN The Magazine ranked pro sports' best franchises, which also listed the Milwaukee Brewers as the seventh-best team to watch. The rankings come from a variety of sources, including analyzing team financial data and fan feedback for all 122 pro sports franchises in baseball, football, basketball and hockey.
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Brewers are sending outfielder Ryan Braun and first baseman Prince Fielder to the 2009 All-Star Game in St. Louis. It will be the second appearance for both players. Braun went last year and Fielder appeared in 2007. Braun was named a starter for the All-Star game after getting the most votes among outfielders.
CHICAGO (AP) -- Derrek Lee's two-run homer helped the Chicago Cubs to an 8-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. Jake Fox also had a two-run home run for the Cubs, who moved 1 1/2 games back of the Brewers in the NL Central Division for second place. Both teams trail the first-place St. Louis Cardinals.
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers get a day off today before hosting a three-game series with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Brewers are coming off a four-game series against the Chicago Cubs in which the Brewers won only one game.
