The Badgers received a No. 2 seed in the East Region, the highest in school history, and will face 15th-seeded Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Friday at the United Center in Chicago. Game times have not been announced.
Wisconsin (29-5, 13-3 Big Ten) is one of nine teams that have been to at least nine straight NCAA tournaments. The others are Arizona, Duke, Florida, Gonzaga, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State and Texas. The Badgers have been to the NCAA tournament in each of Bo Ryan’s six seasons as head coach.
