The Milwaukee Bucks have hired Larry Krystkowiak to replace Terry Stotts, who was fired earlier Wednesday. Krystkowiak had been an assistant under Stotts.

Milwaukee has lost two straight in dropping to 23-and-41. That's the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference and third-worst mark in the league. The Bucks play San Antonio on Thursday night.

The Bucks have dealt with a spate of injuries this season, including the loss of Michael Redd for 20 games. The team went 3-and-17 without Redd in uniform.

Stotts was hired as the team's ninth coach in June of 2005 after Harris let Terry Porter go.
