Badgers Advance to Second Round

Second-seed Wisconsin dug itself a huge hole early in the game against Texas A&M Corpus Christi, but battled back to move into the second-round of the NCAA tournament.

Kammron Taylor scored all of his 24 points in the second half to lead the Badgers to a 76-63 come-from-behind win.

The Islanders exploded out of the gate to score the game's first 10 points and surged to an 18-point lead.

The Badgers chipped away late in the first half and came on strong after intermission behind Taylor. He scored 14 points during one stretch.

Alando Tucker added 23 for Wisconsin which improved to 30-5 and will take on UNLV Sunday.

Texas A&M Corpus Christi was led by seven-footer Chris Daniels who scored 20. The Islanders finished the season with a 26-7 record.
