MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Milwaukee Bucks used a 31-14 third-quarter run to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 87-72 last night. Andrew Bogut led the Bucks with 17 points and Luke Ridnour had 16 off the bench as rookie Brandon Jennings scored just nine on 4-of-16 shooting.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and receiver Donald Driver are probable for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. Both practiced yesterday. Rodgers has toe and foot problems while Driver has a neck injury. Driver hasn't missed a game because of injury in more than six seasons.
NEW YORK (AP) — The NFL has fined Johnny Jolly, Al Harris and B.J. Raji of the Green Bay Packers for rough play in last Sunday's game against Minnesota. Each has been fined $5,000.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Two Blake Geoffrion goals lifted Wisconsin to a 4-2 win over Minnesota in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association last night. The Badgers also got goals from Cody Goloubef and Ben Street. Brett Bennett stopped 16 shots.
