J.J. Hardy provided three of the Brewers' 14 hits after Milwaukee earned a 3-2 victory in a game that was suspended by rain on Tuesday. Hardy hit an RBI single in the sixth to put Milwaukee ahead 4-0.
Rickie Weeks smacked a two-run homer after scoring the game's first run on a sacrifice fly.
Dave Bush improved to 1-1, allowing ten hits but just one run in six innings. Francisco Cordero pitched the ninth for his third save.
The loss goes to 0-2 Sergio Mitre, who was tagged for four runs in six innings.
Miguel Cabrera homered for the Marlins.
