* He was named Defensive Player of the Week twice during the month, winning in Weeks 10 and 12.

* During November, he tied for the NFC lead with three interceptions and tied for second in the conference with three forced fumbles. He was the only defensive back in the NFL to record two sacks during the month.
* Also in November, it was announced that Woodson donated $2 million to the new C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Women’s Hospital at the University of Michigan, his alma mater.
* In his 12th season from Michigan, this is Woodson’s third career Player of the Month Award and second this season (September). He is the first person to be named NFC Defensive Player of the Month twice in a season.

SPECIAL TEAMS: K DAVID AKERS, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

* Akers converted all 13 of his field-goal attempts and scored 50 points, both tops in the NFL.
* Four of his 13 field goals were from at least 40 yards, including a season-long 52-yarder in Week 9 versus Dallas. He also had the game-winning field goal with 1:48 remaining in Week 12 against Washington.
