Organizers of the Buick Open have heard from Tiger Woods -- and it's certainly not what they were hoping for.
The world's top-ranked golfer has informed them that he won't be playing in their tournament this year.
On May 21st, Woods said he intended to play at Warwick Hills in Grand Blanc, Michigan, but the birth of his child would be a priority. Woods' wife gave birth to the couple's first child on Monday.
The Buick Open is earlier this year than in the past, starting next Thursday instead of in early August.
