DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- Kenny Reiter stopped 28 shots on Saturday as Minnesota-Duluth rebounded from Friday's loss to shut out powerful Wisconsin 4-0 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Reiter had 47 saves in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Badgers (15-7-4, 11-6-3 WCHA), who had a 52-19 shots-on-goal advantage. On Saturday, the Bulldogs (17-10-1, 13-6-1) outshot the Wisconsin, which leads the WCHA in goals per game (4.04), 31-28.
Justin Fontaine, Rob Bordson and Mike Connolly scored goals for UMD. They are second, third and ninth in the WCHA in points. Brady Lamb also scored a goal. WCHA scoring leader Jack Connolly had two assists.
Scott Gudmundson had 26 saves and Brett Bennett had one save for the Badgers.
