Badgers Fill Final Recruiting Spot
The Wisconsin Badgers have filled their 4th and final recruiting spot on the basketball team with a 7-foot center from San Antonio.
Ian Markolf has committed to the Badgers, choosing Wisconsin over Kentucky, Iowa State and Baylor.
Those familiar with his play say the 260-pound Markolf is both brawn and brain -- he knows the game and has an NBA body already.
He'll be joined by 3 out-of-state players in Wisconsin's 2008 class. Jordan Taylor is a 6'1"-one point guard from Benilde-St. Margaret's near Minneapolis. Jared Berggren is a six-ten center from Princeton, Minnesota. Robert Wilson is a six-four forward from Garfield Heights, Ohio.
