Brewers bounce back with big win

Prince Fielder hit his 44th home run and Corey Hart also connected to power the Milwaukee Brewers over Pittsburgh 6-1.

Ryan Braun drove in three runs as the Brewers assured themselves of at least staying tied with Chicago for the NL Central lead.

Milwaukee ended a four-game losing streak in Pittsburgh. The Brewers had lost 13 of their 17 at PNC Park.

Yovani Gallardo hurled six shutout innings to improve to 8-4. He held the Pirates on six singles while winning his third straight game and fourth in five decisions.
