On the Wildcats first possession Zach Stangl took it in from a few yards out for a 7-0 lead.
In Wildcat country things have a habit of repeating themselves. Next time they get the ball it's Stangl again this time from 6 yards out for 13-0 advantage.
The Silver Eagles cut the deficit to 7. But in the 2nd quarter a turnover lead to, what else, Stangl's 3rd touchdown of the game. 20-9 at the half and Verona goes on to the 41-9 win.
Verona improves to 4-0 while Monona Grove falls to 0-4.
