MADISON, Wis. -- In the first-ever NCAA contest to be played at LaBahn Arena, the No. 3 Wisconsin women's hockey team lit the lamp twice in front of a loud, sell-out crowd to overcome No. 6 Harvard, 2-1, in the quarterfinal tilt of the 2014 NCAA tournament.
Senior Alex Rigsby made 23 saves to record her 100th career win. She holds the school record for career wins, and is now tied for second on the NCAA all-time list.
Redshirt junior Brittany Ammerman also reached the century mark, scoring her 100th career point after tallying an assist in Wisconsin's first goal.
Junior Blayre Turnbull marked two points off a goal and an assist to bring her season point total to 40.
