Bob Haffele calls it a coaching career at Randolph

Moments after winning the programs 10th WIAA Bosy Basketball State Title was not the time or the place he wanted to make any announcement.

Today is the that time for one of the most successful coaches is the state's high school hoops history.

Bob Haffele resigned as Randolph boys head basketball coach Wednesday.

Haffele, a memmber of the 500-win club, has the best winning percentage of all of them .849 (512-91).

Haffele coached the Ropckets to all 10 of those titles which have all comes since 1996. Over his career Randolph only lost once in the Kohl Center home to the state tournament.

Despite having the programs 175-game conference win streak ended this past season Randolph still won its 18th conference title under Haffele.
