The Milwaukee Brewers today issued the following statement regarding the incident involving Yovani Gallardo last night:
"We have been made aware of the situation with Yovani and we take this matter very seriously. We have expressed our disappointment to him and know he understands that behavior of this nature is of great concern to everyone in the organization. Yovani has acknowledged the seriousness of this incident and is taking full accountability for his actions."

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Yovani Gallardo, one of the Milwaukee Brewers starting pitchers, was cited for operating while intoxicated (OWI), 1st offense early Tuesday morning, April 16th.
According to police, Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Deputies pulled Gallardo over on westbound I-94 around 2:10 a.m. for deviating lanes.
Gallardo had a blood alcohol level of .22.
