MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers have plans to create a "Wall of Honor" at Miller Park next year.
The wall will commemorate Milwaukee Brewers players, coaches and executives who meet the criteria set by the team, including service to the club or career accomplishments. Honorees on the wall outside Miller park will have a bronze plaque with their image and a brief description of their accomplishments.
Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger says the wall honors individuals who spent a significant portion of their career with the Brewers, or have a legacy with the team through various achievements. The team's criteria include 2,000 or more plate appearances, manager of a pennant-winning team, winner of a major award, and other benchmarks.
The Brewers say 58 people meet the criteria and will be inducted June 13.
