Cedar Rapids Kernels Begin Affiliation with Twins
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) -- The Cedar Rapids Kernels are announcing a new Major League affiliation with the Minnesota Twins.
KWWL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/R0HEdU ) the Twins are moving their affiliation to Cedar Rapids from Beloit, Wis.
The Kernels had been affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels since 1993.
The agreement with the Twins will extend for four years.
The Kernels play in the Midwest League.
