Madison, WI - Mallards second baseman Robbie Tenerowicz (California) went 2-for-3 with one RBI and contributed stellar defensive play to lead the Madison Mallards (13-9) over the Lakeshore Chinooks (14-8) by a score of 1-0 at the “Duck Pond.”
Tenerowicz singled in the bottom of the second to drive in third baseman Trent Higginbothem (North Florida) from third for the Mallards only run and showed off his range at second in the third inning on a diving stab moving to his right to turn a 4-6-3 double play. With his RBI tonight, he moves into second place on the team with 12 RBI behind first baseman Pete Alonso (Florida).
