SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Philip Rivers threw one touchdown and an interception last night in the San Diego Chargers 21-13 preseason win over the Green Bay Packers. Conversely, Aaron Rodgers had an interception and a fumble in three series for the Packers. The matchup also featured Shannon Eastin, who became the first woman to officiate an NFL game.

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Packers starting linebacker Desmond Bishop injured his right leg yesterday in the preseason opener against San Diego. Bishop was hurt in the first quarter when a group of players fell on his leg while finishing a tackle. The Packers entered the game with more than a dozen players out of action.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Bucks have signed free-agent Joel Przybilla. The 7-foot-1 center returns to Milwaukee for his second stint with the Bucks. Przybilla has averaged four points and six-plus rebounds a game in his career.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Marquette has reported a possible rules violation involving the men's basketball program to the NCAA. The university didn't disclose the nature of the violation. Athletic director Larry Williams says the school is conducting a joint review with the NCAA.
