Posted Friday, October 26, 2012 --- 7:35 a.m.

Here is the latest Wisconsin sports news from The Associated Press:

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings will undergo surgery next week to repair a groin injury. Jennings didn't give a timetable for his return yesterday, but says the recovery won't end his season. Jennings was hurt in the season opener and aggravated the injury in Week 4.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Tobias Harris scored 18 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks past the Charlotte Bobcats 100-90 yesterday morning in front of thousands of middle school children. Mike Dunleavy added 17 points for the Bucks, who overcame a 20-point third quarter deficit. Kemba Walker led the Bobcats with 20 points and seven assists.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Madison Bumgarner pitched seven shutout innings last night to lead the San Francisco Giants to a 2-0 win over the Detroit Tigers in Game 2 of the World Series. Bumgarner struck out eight hitters for the Giants, who took a 2-0 series lead. Tigers starter Doug Fister stayed in the game after getting hit in the head by a line drive.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Rookie running back Doug Martin racked up 214 total yards and two touchdowns last night in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 36-17 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Quarterback Josh Freeman had three scoring passes, including one to Martin. Vikings running back Adrian Peterson rushed for 123 yards and a TD, but lost a fumble in the second quarter that led directly to a Tampa Bay touchdown.
