It's been a back and forth series between Jefferson and McFarland since both teams joined the Rock Valley-North conference, with neither team able to put together back to back wins against the other since 2008.
The Eagles changed that Friday night, as Jefferson soared over McFarland in the Rock Valley-North opener 41-14.
Jefferson hosts Clinton next week, as McFarland looks to rebound against Parkview at home.
