Both Middleton and West played a sloppy first half as the Cardinals led 7-0 at half on a 15-yard touchdown run by quarterback Luke Schafer.
Schafer scored again to start the third quarter to make it 14-0. West then had to play catch-up the rest of the game. The Regents cut the lead to 28-21 but ran out of steam, falling 35-21.
Middleton improves to 4-0, West falls to 3-1 in the Big Eight.
