Madison Memorial made a statement Friday night to the other teams in the Big 8, as the Spartans obliterated Madison East 67-6.
After leading 7-6 in the first quarter, the Spartans went on a 60-point, unanswered run to close out the game.
Memorial heads into the third week of the season 2-0, as they get set for Madison West. The Purgolders try for their first win of the season next Friday as they take on Middleton.
