Middleton's season comes to an end with a 44-9 loss to Sussex Hamilton in a divison one level one playoff game.
The Cardinals struggled to get anything going offensively as Luke Schafer was interecepted in the first quarter. Hamilton would capatalize on a Mark Gryszkiewicz touchdown pass to Tony Gumina to make it 7-0.
Middleton got on the board with a Derek Rongstad field goal to cut the lead to 10-3 but Hamilton would put up 34 more points to beat Middleton 44-9.
The Cards end their season with a 5-4 mark.
