Here is the latest Wisconsin sports news from The Associated Press:

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Aaron Rodgers threw a go-ahead touchdown to Jordy Nelson in the fourth quarter as the Green Bay Packers beat the winless New Orleans Saints 28-27 yesterday. Rodgers finished with 319 yards passing and four touchdowns. Saints kicker Garrett Hartley missed a 48-yard field goal attempt with less than three minutes left.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- During the coin toss in the Saints-Packers game yesterday, referee Jeff Triplette said that "it's great to be back, gentlemen!" The NFL's regular refs are back on the job, and Packers plays are moving on from a call that cost them a win at Seattle. Aaron Rodgers shared a laugh with one of the regular officials before the game.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Jordan Lyles pitched his first major league shutout yesterday as the Houston Astros blanked the Milwaukee Brewers 7-0. Lyles also helped his own cause by hitting his first career home run. The loss knocked the Brewers out of playoff contention.

DETROIT (AP) -- Percy Harvin returned the opening kickoff 105 yards for a touchdown yesterday to help the Minnesota Vikings defeat the Detroit Lions 20-13. Marcus Shields scored on a punt return in the third quarter for the Vikings. Matthew Stafford threw for 319 yards for Detroit, which lost its third straight.
