Monday Morning Wisconsin Sports Report

Posted Monday, October 8, 2012 --- 6:55 a.m.

Here is the latest Wisconsin sports news from The Associated Press:

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- The Indianapolis Colts' first game without hospitalized coach Chuck Pagano was a stunning 30-27 victory over the Packers. Green Bay had a chance to force overtime, but Mason Crosby missed a 51-yard field goal with three seconds to go. Colts coach Pagano is battling leukemia.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Percy Harvin pounded his way through Tennessee's defense for one touchdown rushing and another receiving to help the Minnesota Vikings beat the Titans 30-7. Harvin caught eight passes for 108 yards for the Vikings.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Chicago Bears used stifling defense to overwhelm the Jaguars 41-3 in Jacksonville. The 4-and-1 Bears scored 38 unanswered points in the second half yesterday to win their third consecutive game. Charles Tillman and Lance Briggs returned interceptions for touchdowns.

TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) -- Daytona 500 winner Matt Kenseth won yesterday at Talladega Superpeedway, where a last-lap crash turned defending NASCAR champion Tony Stewart upside down. Jeff Gordon finished second and Kyle Busch was third.
