ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Aaron Rodgers threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns yesterday in the Green Bay Packers' 30-20 win over the St. Louis Rams. Randall Cobb caught two scoring passes and Jordy Nelson hauled in the third. Steven Jackson rushed for 57 yards and a TD for the Rams.
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Packers linebacker Mike Neal left yesterday's game in the second quarter with a knee injury. Neal was a backup on a line already minus tackle B.J. Raji. Neal was suspended the first four games of the year for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) -- Wisconsin-native Matt Kenseth won at Kansas Speedway over the weekend for his second victory in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. The new racing surface contributed to a race-record 14 cautions yesterday. Martin Truex Jr. finished in second place and Paul Menard came in third.
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Ryan Vogelsong led the San Francisco Giants to a 6-1 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals last night to force a Game 7 in the NL championship series. Vogelsong had a career-best nine strikeouts and Marco Scutaro hit a two-run double for the Giants. Kyle Lohse will start for St. Louis against Matt Cain in Game 7 tonight.
