GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdown passes yesterday to lead the Green Bay Packers to a 24-15 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. With the two scoring passes, Rodgers moved past Bart Starr for second place on Green Bay's all-time list. Dezman Moses gave the Packers their first TD on a blocked punt in more than 20 years.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin point guard Josh Gasser will miss the entire season after tearing his ACL in practice. Gasser was injury on Saturday, and the team says he will be re-evaluated this week. Gasser will redshirt the season and have two years of eligibility remaining.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A bye week has arrived at the right time for struggling Wisconsin. The ground game has become stuck and quarterback Joel Stave is nursing a bad shoulder. The Badgers trail Ohio State and Penn State in the Leaders Division, but neither the Buckeyes nor the Nittany Lions are eligible for the postseason.
CHICAGO (AP) -- Robbie Gould kicked a 41-yard field goal as time expired yesterday to give the Chicago Bears a 23-22 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Kellen Davis had a touchdown reception and Tim Jennings returned an interception for a TD in the fourth quarter for Chicago. Justin Medlock hit five field goals for the Panthers.
