CINCINNATI (AP) -- Marco Estrada held Cincinnati's lineup to one single over seven shutout innings yesterday to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 3-1 victory over the Reds. The Brewers took two of three from the Reds. Jim Henderson gave up Joey Votto's 20th homer in the ninth inning while picking up his 21st save in 24 chances.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers are still uncertain about their kicking situation. The Packers have signed kicker Zach Ramirez and had him competing with Mason Crosby and Giorgio Tavecchio. They've all been battling during training camp.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Lavelle Hawkins returned a kickoff 105 yards for a score late in the second quarter in San Francisco's 34-14 preseason victory over Minnesota last night. Colin Kaepernick completed six straight passes in his third series of the game. Kaepernick finished 7 for 13 for 72 yards.

CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Cleveland Indians overcame four errors to beat the Minnesota Twins 3-1 yesterday. Drew Stubbs homered to dead center on a 0-1 pitch from Jared Burton to snap a 1-all tie and lift the Indians to a crucial win in their quest a spot in the American League playoffs. Joe Smith pitched a scoreless eighth.
