MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers may still add a running back before the season starts. Free agent Cedric Benson has visited the team, though there was no indication a deal was in place. Benson had 273 carries for 1,067 yards and six touchdowns last year with the Cincinnati Bengals.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Former Minnesota Vikings running back Caleb King is to appear in court next month on an assault charge. He's accused of punching a man outside a birthday party last April. According to the complaint, the man was waiting for a ride home after the party in Oak Grove when King accused him of calling him names. The complaint says King punched the man in the face and then pulled him out of a car by his neck.
