Steady seniors help Andersen lead No. 14 Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- With one game left, Wisconsin is just one spot from a Top 14 ranking in the BCS standings and eligibility for an at-large berth in a premier bowl game.

As if the Badgers needed any more motivation heading into season finale Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium against Penn State.

Wisconsin (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten) will honor 26 seniors Saturday, including Chris Borland, the linebacker who has excelled even through the transition to a 3-4 defense in coach Gary Andersen's first season in Madison.

Borland wasn't named a finalist for the Butkus Award for the country's top linebacker. Andersen says he thinks the best linebacker in the country isn't on the list.
