After taking a share of two of the last three Big Eight titles, the Sun Prairie Cardinals have it all to themselves in 2012 as they clinched the conference championship with a 55-0 win over East.
Quarterback Ryan Curran shined in Friday night's win against the Purgolders. Up 14-0 in the first, Curran launched a 22 yard strike to Donnel Thompson to increase Sun Prairie's lead to 21.
Later in the quarter, Curran went back to work and found Michael Marchese for another touchdown to put the Cardinals up 28-0 at the end of one.
But Sun Prairie was not letting up for the rest of the contest. Curran hit Tripp Soma for the first points of the second quarter to put the Cardinals up 35-0.
