Here is the latest Wisconsin sports news from The Associated Press:

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State's defense smothered Wisconsin's Montee Ball and the Beavers upset the 13th ranked Badgers 10-7 on Saturday. The win snapped Wisconsin's 33-game non-conference winning streak, the second-longest in the country behind LSU. The Badgers finished with just 207 yards offense yesterday in Corvallis, Oregon.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Wisconsin wide receiver Jared Abbrederis left the Wisconsin Badgers' loss to Oregon State on Saturday with a chest injury following a big hit. Abbrederis was hurt in the second quarter of the 10-7 loss to the Beavers. He was injured when he got sandwiched by Oregon State's Rueben Robinson and Feti Taumoepeau. Abbrederis was taken to a hospital but was expected to accompany the team on the flight back to Wisconsin.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Aramis Ramirez had three hits, including his 22nd home run, to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 6-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday night. Ricky Weeks added a solo home run and Ryan Braun went 3 for 5 with a run scored for the Brewers at Busch Stadium. Ramirez, who also walked twice, reached base all five times he batted and scored twice against the Cardinals.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Cole DeVries pitched six scoreless innings to win his third straight start and the Minnesota Twins shut out the Cleveland Indians 3-0 on Saturday night. Joe Mauer had an RBI single and Josh Willingham added a sacrifice fly in a two-run third inning for the home team at Target Field.
