Tuesday Morning Wisconsin Sports Report

Posted Tuesday, September 11, 2012 --- 8:20 a.m.

Here is the latest Wisconsin sports news from The Associated Press:

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers scored four runs in the seventh inning last night to beat the Atlanta Braves 4-1. The Brewers sent 10 batters to the plate in the seventh, and Norichika Aoki had a two-run double in the frame. John Axford worked the ninth inning for his 28th save.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings' status for Thursday's game against the Chicago Bears is unclear. Packers coach Mike McCarthy says Jennings suffered groin injury in Sunday's loss to San Francisco. Jennings also missed time in the preseason because of a concussion.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin has replaced offensive line coach Mike Markuson just two games into the season. Badgers coach Bret Bielema confirmed the move yesterday. Markuson will be replaced by Bart Miller, a graduate assistant.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A prosecutor says charges against three men accused of assaulting Wisconsin running back Montee Ball have been delayed. Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne told a court commissioner yesterday that not all of the police reports have been received. Ball suffered a concussion during the assault last month near campus.
